This is why we have been working successfully with our customers, qualified employees on board and ashore and our strong partners for 25 years. Only through respectful cooperation can we achieve the best possible result. Appreciation of each individual is just as important to us as trust in their professional performance and respect for their own personality.

Our most valuable asset is our crew on board and ashore. Part of our success today is the diversity of cultures, languages, personalities and skills of our employees. It is therefore very important to us to ensure that at sea chefs no distinctions are made between nationalities, ethnic backgrounds, religions, age, gender and/or sexual orientation and that everyone is respected equally. In this way, we do our part to ensure that people from all over the world come together at sea chefs and work together peacefully hand in hand.

 

Quality

Every product under sea chefs management has so far achieved the best possible positioning in its market segment. Our aim is to bundle essential know-how at sea chefs. To this end, we are pleased to welcome employees to our offices ashore who previously worked on board and now use this knowledge to manage the business on board, either operationally or administratively. We also attach great importance to carefully selecting our partnerships, customers and employees and continuously promoting internal skills on land and on board. In this way, we enable our crew members to reach new professional and personal career levels - including through programs such as our own sea chefs Academy.

 

Passion

Whether former seafarers, private cruise fans or departmental experts - our enthusiasm for the oceans and rivers of this world and our passion for the job is the driving force behind our success. Whether trainees or management, it is important to us to pass this on to the guests on board in order to give them the best time of the year. The majority of our employees and crew members have been part of sea chefs for many years and, with their expertise, commitment and personality, are one of the main pillars of our company.

 

Responsibility

As a partner to shipping companies, we have a direct influence on improving and actively shaping environmental standards in the industry, particularly in the hotel and catering sectors on board. To this end, we work closely with our partners, service providers and suppliers on numerous projects, which together have a major impact.

As an employer, we ensure compliance with all laws, guidelines and standards relating to labor law, health protection and general social standards. We are also aware of our duty to create a harmonious working environment and appropriate framework conditions for our employees on land and on board, in which they can move, develop and feel at ease.
